Figure Skating School in Moscow — ANO "Figure Skating League"

Figure Skating School in Moscow — ANO "Figure Skating League"

The Moscow Figure Skating School of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Figure Skating League" opened its doors in 2009. Since then, the school has trained more than 400 figure skaters who have successfully developed their athletic careers.
Our figure skating school in Moscow operates under an official educational license, which legally confirms our right to provide professional training and development programs for figure skaters.
The school has an experienced and dedicated coaching team passionate about their profession.
All of our coaches are officially certified specialists who have previously competed in figure skating themselves and have become medalists and champions of major national and international figure skating competitions.

Training Programs and Methodology

The Moscow Figure Skating School has developed and approved a comprehensive sports training program for figure skating in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the Russian Ministry of Sport and the methodological recommendations of the Figure Skating Federation of Russia.
Training sessions with figure skaters are conducted in full compliance with classical educational and coaching principles.
The principle of continuous development is incorporated into our program and implemented through several stages — from initial training to advanced athletic development and preparation for competitive performance.

Stages of Athlete Development

Beginner Training Stage

The main goal of the initial training stage is to develop a lasting interest in physical activity and sports, while building fundamental skating skills.

Advanced Athletic Development Stage

The goal of this stage is to develop and maintain a strong interest in figure skating while improving technical skills, performance quality, and athletic abilities.

Competition Preparation Stage

The goal of competition preparation is to help athletes achieve and maintain the optimal physical and technical condition required for successful performances and strong competition results.

Training Principles

Scientific Approach

Our training process is based on scientifically proven and practically tested methods of athlete development.

Visual Learning

This principle is implemented through practical demonstrations of skating elements and exercises by qualified specialists.
To support this approach, theoretical lessons include educational videos covering skating fundamentals, technique development, as well as webinars focused on athlete psychology and mental preparation.

Progressive Learning

The accessibility principle is achieved through a gradual increase in training complexity — from basic skills to more advanced technical elements.

Training Facilities

ANO "Figure Skating League" rents professional training facilities at Arena Play in Zelenograd, Moscow.
General and specialized physical training sessions are held in modern sports and fitness facilities equipped with all necessary equipment and training machines.
Ice training sessions take place on professional ice rinks within the sports complex.

Athlete Safety

During all training sessions, coaches pay special attention to athlete safety.
Our experienced specialists are trained to identify and prevent situations that may lead to injuries.
Before each ice session, athletes' equipment is carefully inspected to ensure that clothing is properly fitted, all elements are securely fastened, and skating boots match the athlete's foot size correctly.
During training sessions:
  • rink gates must remain closed;
  • athletes enter and leave the ice only with the coach's permission and supervision;
  • all safety procedures are strictly followed.
Medical support during training sessions is provided by qualified medical staff of the sports facilities.
